This week should be the peak of fall colors in the Hudson Valley. The spectacular red, yellow, and orange leaves are ready to turn brown and fall back to the earth in the endless circle of life. Both Harriman and Rockland State Park offer of some of the most scenic places in Rockland County to hike and enjoy nature’s show. A hike along the Hudson from Upper Nyack will also please all nature lovers. A favorite photo opportunity can be had by taking a picture from across a lake to create a mirror effect of the wonderful colors on the water surface.
