Best Public College Value
Two New York public colleges score high in value. So says Princeton Review... State University of New York at Binghampton and City College of New York - Hunter College both ranked in the top 10 for best value in a public college for 2011. The process criteria included numerous factors in three specific areas, academics, cost of attendance and financial aid. Academics: Quality of students school attracts and student-rated academic experiences. Cost of Attendance: In-state tuition used, room and board and required fees. Financial Aid :Considered were grants and scholarships awarded to students, percentage of students who took out school loans and the average debt of those students. Also considered was the overall student-rated satisfaction of the financial aid packages they received. Congratulations to both schools for excellence in academics and outstanding financial aid programs. Donna Podesta, Wright Bros Real Estate, www.donna@wrightinnyack.com
